Psychic, Manifesting, and Intuition: When, How, Why?

Sometimes, when looking for the information we need and creating the lives we want, we can get a bit discombobulated regarding what to do when, and when to do what. It might be helpful to take a closer look at how psychic, manifesting, and intuition can help us, and in what ways.

Let’s take a look at a simple example of how I sometimes make use of the different strategies, and exercises you can do to play with and train your manifestation, psychic, and intuition muscles.

  1. Manifesting: I need a parking space. Simply put, I envision a parking space where I would like one to be, send it out to the universe, and drive to where I envisioned the space to be. If I have manifested correctly, the space should be there waiting for me.

  2. Psychic: I need a parking space. I use my second sight to look for an available parking space in the area near which I need or want to be, and then I go to that space and park there.

  3. Intuition: I need a parking space. I use my intuition to discern whether it is best for me to manifest one or to look for what’s available. I can also follow my gut to where it tells me there’s an available space.

Using the example 'I need a parking space' above, I will present below a few advantages and disadvantages to using the different strategies.

Disadvantages:

  • Manifesting can take time.

  • It’s difficult to drive and simultaneously manifest a parking space.

  • The variables have to line up.

  • You have to have trained your manifestation, psychic, and intuition muscles sufficiently, if they are not readily available.

  • It’s not always the case, but in order to receive, you generally need to be able and willing to receive. This might take some discovery and repair work.

Advantages:

  • Manifesting is proactive: you design what you want exactly as you want it.

  • Psychic is proactive and reactive: you look for what you want, and accept what is available to you.

  • Psychic is immediate: you see what is available now (although some people are also able to see what will/might be available).

  • If you envision a parking space, and a parking space is available when you get there, you can chalk it up to manifesting, but how do you really know the space was available as a result of your manifesting it? (This is listed as an advantage, because the belief can be manipulated in your favour.)

  • It’s possible to see the available parking space psychically while you drive, as well as use your intuition to determine whether manifesting or psychic is the better method.

  • You can follow your intuition/gut feeling to where an available parking space is.

A simple way to train both manifestation and psychic is to practice envisioning skills. The more detailed you can be about what you want, the more real it may feel, the more likely you may be to get what you want or what you’re looking for.

Keeping in line with the example of the parking space, make sure that you are as detailed as possible when manifesting what you want. Practice activating all of your senses and writing your impressions and experiences down in words and/or even diagrams.

You can do the same thing to train psychic, i.e. envision the area or building where you are wanting to park clearly. The more detailed you become able to see it in your mind, the easier it should be to see in your mind’s eye/third eye what is or is not there, i.e. exactly where spaces are or are not available.

When it comes to training intuition, in this case whether or not manifestation or psychic is the best strategy, sit with both choices, and see how they feel, and where you feel them in your body, or what kinds of impressions you get. If you notice feelings in your body, see if the feelings are stronger when you focus on manifestation or when you focus on psychic. Learn to pay attention to the nuances in the feelings or impressions.

When you’re out driving and looking for a parking space, practice approaching parking areas and asking questions like "Is there an available parking space here?" or "Where is the nearest parking space?" and see what happens in your body or what kind of impressions you get.

Allow them to be wrong, and notice if there was anything in your impressions or feelings that indicated uncertainty. Notice, as your accuracy improves, what the differences are. Learn to listen and feel without judgment.

And notice any fear or limiting beliefs you may have that need to be cleared or released. If you’re focusing on those, you’re distracting yourself from your goal, in this case, improving your skills, and finding an available parking space.

Whatever strategy you choose, be grateful for whatever you have received - even if it’s not what you asked for. The Universe serves your Highest Good, which means it may reveal something you need to experience first, not necessarily what you believe you want.
