We pick up energy just like we pick up sand at the beach, it sticks without us noticing. That intense chat with your mum? The colleague offloading their stress? Scrolling on your phone and absorbing collective fear or outrage? Each interaction leaves an imprint. Even passing a stranger can spark an energetic “pickup” if your field is open and receptive.This isn’t about being too sensitive. It’s about being energetically aware.   • Does this make sense with my actual life right now?If not, pause and investigate gently.

  • Where is this feeling sitting in my body?Other people’s energy often sits like a “weight” in the gut, shoulders, back of the neck, or head.


And remember, you don’t have to analyse it. You just have to acknowledge it’s there… and let it go. How to Clear Other People’s Energy (Without Needing Sage or a Full Moon)


Yes, crystals and smoke rituals are great but clearing energy can also be simple, quick, and powerful. Here are some real-world tools you can use today:


1. Speak It Out Loud

Words are spells.

Say:“I release any energy that doesn’t belong to me. I return to my own space with ease and grace.”Simple. Direct. Potent.


2. The Golden Light Shower

Visualise standing under a golden waterfall.

Let it wash through every cell, every layer of your aura.

Watch any heavy, cloudy energy drain away into the earth.

Pro tip: Do this in the actual shower and say, “Let this water rinse away all energy that isn’t mine.”


3. Breathe + Tap Inhale deeply.

Exhale slowly.

Gently tap your chest or thymus (middle of your chest) while saying:“I am safe. I am clear. I am home in my energy.”


4. Move Your Body

Shake your hands.

Do a wiggle.

Put on music and dance it out. Energy gets stuck in the body, so let it MOVE.


5. Salt: The OG Cleanser

Salt is one of the most ancient and natural energy purifiers.

Baths, scrubs, or a simple bowl of salt under your bed can help cleanse your space.


6. Grounding Through Nature

How to Stop Picking It Up in the First Place


You can’t avoid people (unless you live in a hut, which sounds kind of nice sometimes).

But you can set energetic boundaries without closing your heart.

Try these:

Start your day with this intention: “Only energy that serves my highest good is welcome in my field.”

Visualise a soft, light-filled bubble around you.

Think boundary, not barrier.

End your day by checking in: “What do I want to keep? What do I want to release?”

Energetic hygiene is as important as brushing your teeth.


Final Words: You’re Not Broken. You’re Just Tuned In.
